As a TESL student , i am required to participate in co-curricular activities too. As i love to do business, luckily i get to be one of Young Enterpreneur Club's member. Our advisor for this club is Madam Hayati Yaakub, she is very passionate in giving us tips to do business. She always encourages us to participate in any competition that can give us benefits. After a month we participated in this club, Madam Hayati suggested to do an activity which is we have been divided into a few groups, each group need to sell something. 30% of the profit will be donated to the club and the balance will be divided between the group members. So my group decided to sell topokki ( korean food) and ramen as students really love to eat these foods. Luckily, i know a stockist for topokki and ramen so it is very easy for us to proceed with our plan. We got a great response from our fellow Dengkil's students and we managed to sell 20 packs of topokki and 28 packs of ramen. Our strategy is we sell the ramen cheaper than the mart in Dengkil. This is just an activity so we did not focus on getting high profit , we just did it for fun. If not because of this pandemic, we can open our own stall, it will be more exciting compared to online business. Last but not least, it was a great experience and i am so honoured to be part of this club.
